About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya Border Security Force, Humhama, started in the temporary building provided by Border Security Force in November 2011. This temporary building was inaugurated by Mr. Baljeet Singh, Additional Inspector General, Border Security Force on July 21, 2011. This school started with enrollment of only 5 students, which has now reached 200.This school is located in the green environment of the Border Security Force Humahama complex which is near the Srinagar airport. The work of transferring 6 acres of land to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the construction of a permanent building by the Border Security Force is in progress.
